Each year on December 20th, the Leon L. Beauford Nonprofit Organization publicly releases an online announcement recognizing individuals and groups from different communities who have made meaningful contributions through service, leadership, and positive impact. As part of this annual recognition, we present the Leon L. Beauford Nonprofit Community Award to honor those who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to strengthening their neighborhoods, supporting vulnerable populations, and advancing community well-being. This published list serves both as a celebration of their achievements and as a record of appreciation for the continued efforts of community leaders who help drive lasting change.

Upon selection, we will contact the awardees, arrange for a photograph with them and their award, and proudly feature these photos on a dedicated webpage connected to our site. This page will serve as a tribute to these incredible community heroes.
